Two new associate deans are slated to begin their terms on July 1.
Ibironke Odumosu-Ayanu will become associate dean graduate studies and research on July 1 and will serve a five-year term.

She takes over the associate dean position from Barbara von Tigerstrom. The college is grateful to Professor von Tigerstrom for her work as interim associate dean.
Heather Heavin, who had been serving as interim associate dean academic, will begin a three-year term in the role starting Jan. 1, 2026. She will be on a well-deserved administrative leave from July 1 to Dec. 31, 2025.
She joined the college in 2003 after practising with the firm of MLT (now MLT Aikins) in its Regina office from 1997 to 2002.
Doug Surtees will serve as interim associate dean academic during Professor Heavin's leave. Before he joined the college in 2005, he was co-director of the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan (PLEA) from 1994-2005.
