Career Office Job Postings
A Juris Doctor is a diverse degree that provides the foundation for many exciting career options. There are numerous opportunities in a variety of fields available for our students and graduates. Many legal employers actively recruit students and the following are few examples of where you will find postings:
- this section of the Career Office web pages - be sure to review regularly
- NALP Canadian Directory of Legal Employers
- BC Rural Program
- Firm websites
It is suggested students utilize other sources of information in conjunction with the job postings, such as firm websites, brochures, legal directories and creative web searches to research opportunities and legal employers.
There are also numerous opportunities with employers who do not actively recruit students and students may find it helpful to use a directory to seek out these opportunities. The Career Office has useful information and resources to assist you with your employment search. Please refer to our on-line resources and visit our office so we can assist you in your career planning.
You should also be aware of the recruitment rules and procedures in each jurisdiction. Information can be found in the Finding Work section of the Career Office web pages.
Additional information for students can be found in Searching for Articles.
