“Six Things I Wish That I’d Known in Law School”

Guest Speaker: The Honourable Robert G. Richards, KC, former Chief Justice of Saskatchewan

Mr. Richards spent more than 40 years as a lawyer, judge and chief justice. He will share the inside story on six things that, looking back, he wishes he had known in law school. His talk will cover issues such as:

  • the true range of career choices open to students,
  • what makes one career path more rewarding than another,
  • does that first job lock you in to a career trajectory,
  • how much money do lawyers make and who makes what,
  • how does a legal career unfold over time, and
  • how important are law school grades in the long run.

Following his talk, he will be pleased to answer any and all questions about a life in the law.

Pizza will be available for all who attend!
