These interviews are specifically for 2L law students for 2022 summer positions. The legal employers involved are primarily from Calgary but there may be others from various locations such as Edmonton. The remote interviews have been increased from a day of 17 minute interviews, to 20 minute interviews, allowing for 20 interview timeslots to take place for each of the participating firms, should they decide to host a full schedule.
Typically, there is a lunch (2Ls) and an evening reception (for both 1L and 2Ls). Often these firms take 2L student candidates out for a dinner immediately following the networking event. This year only the interview portion of the day will proceed, remotely.
The USask College of Law has posted positions of those firms who will be participating in the REMOTE OCI process, in the Student Career Portal, with a deadline of Friday, August 27, at 11:59 pm CST. Additional firms may also have postings in the Student Career Portal, and will be conducting interviews on a day of their choosing.
