Career Events
Students 2L Levi Graham, and 3L Courtenay Catlin, will provide an overview of the various processes and strategies required to land a job in the lower-mainland. They will speak to both the summer and article recruitment process in Vancouver as well as provide general advice for marketing yourself in BC.
Please note: USask College of Law conducts an (All Years) Vancouver Firm Tour for those that are interested in this market. Last year’s event was held over two days in June, along with hosting a college alumni event, where the students were able to connect directly with USask law alumni. If interested in this option, please email lawcareers@usask.ca, and in the subject line of the email indicate your year, first and last name, and Vancouver Firm Tour 2020.
We will also be looking for a student who is familiar with the area to plan this two-day tour, and be the direct contact for setting up the schedule with firm representatives. Last year’s tour included 11 firm visits and we anticipate to hold the tours, the middle of June 2020.
