Canadian National Negotiation Competition

General

The second annual Canadian National Negotiation Competition (CNNC), sponsored by Dentons LLP and Cameco, will take place at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law on March 2 and 3, 2018.

The competition invites teams of two students from law schools across Canada to showcase their negotiation skills in a simulated legal case, with the aim of getting the best possible result for their client. Teams' performances will be assessed against a range of criteria by a panel of judges, and the winning team's negotiation will have the strongest combination of these criteria.

The competition is a great opportunity for law students to practice and improve their negotiation skills. The winners will have chance to advance to the International Negotiation Competition in 2018.

The cost to enter CNNC is $100 per team. Registration opens on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and will remian open until all 20 places are full. Students can register in teams of two at nationalnegotiation-usask.eventbrite.ca.
