Increasing Impact: Access to Justice Week 2024
Free public law fairs to connect the public with legal knowledge highlight the Ninth Annual Saskatchewan Access to Justice Week (A2J) Week.
Saskatchewan Access to Justice (A2J) Week is an annual event co-hosted by the Law Society of Saskatchewan and CREATE Justice – the Centre for Research, Evaluation, and Action Towards Equal Justice based at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law (USask Law).
Access to Justice week engages communities across the province in a conversation about improving access to justice, to create a more inclusive and easier to navigate legal system for average people.
It happens this year from October 28 to November 1. The official theme is Increasing Impact: Collaboration, Change, and Capacity Building.
Several events are happening during the week:
- October 24: Saskatoon Public Library Law Fair (October 24)
- October 29: Focus on Gladue: Gladue Report Submissions in Saskatchewan (October
- October 30: Becoming a Lawyer
- November 1: Film Screening: Us & Them
- November 2: Regina Public Library Law Fair
