Cuming adds distinguished to title
College of Law Professor Ron C.C. Cuming has been awarded the title of Distinguished Professor by the University of Saskatchewan.
The title of “Distinguished Professor” is meant to honour and celebrate exceptional achievement in research, scholarly or artistic work by University of Saskatchewan faculty or emeriti. This honorary title is a lifetime award that becomes Distinguished Professor Emeritus upon retirement.
The title was awarded based on Professor Cuming’s many research accomplishments, and outstanding contributions to the University of Saskatchewan, particularly his work in the area of commercial law and secure financing and his many publications in high quality national and international journals.
The appointment is effective July 1, 2016.
