Inclusion and diversity: A Reflection on Canada’s 150th and the Promise of the Future.

The 2017-18 McKercher Lecture Series at the College of Law continues with the Saskatchewan Law Review Lecture featuring three guest speakers:

The Honourable Raynell Andreychuk
Prior to her Senate appointment, Senator Raynell Andreychuk served as a lawyer and judge in Saskatchewan. She has dedicated her career to advancing the principles of human rights, democracy, and universal justice.

Maria Campbell
A celebrated Métis author, playwright, broadcaster, filmmaker, and Elder, Maria Campbell is also a volunteer, activist and advocate for Indigenous rights and the rights of women. 

The Honourable Palbinder Kaur Shergill
On her appointment to the Supreme Court of British Columbia in New Westminster in June 2017, Justice Shergill became the first turbaned Supreme Court judge in Canada.
