Orientation and Registration
The 2016 College of Law Registration and Orientation Program will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. The program is mandatory and your attendance is required.
8:00-9:30 am Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016
(Denton's Canada LLP Student Lounge, Law 43)
Upon registration, please ensure you do the following:
- Check that your surname, first name and middle name are spelled correctly.
- Check that your Saskatoon address has been provided; if not, please do so at the time of registration. If your address is unknown at the time of registration, you are required to notify us when it is known. As well, any changes to your personal information (Saskatoon address, permanent home address, name, etc.) must be made to both the College of Law and on PAWS as they occur.
- Sign your registration form.
Withdrawal: Should you decide not to attend the U of S College of Law, it is your responsibility to notify the Admissions Committee in writing (email is accepted) as soon as possible. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. You will be charged for classes not officially cancelled, resulting in an “ABF” (Absent Fail) assigned to your transcript as your final grade. Should you wish to be considered for future admission, a new application must be submitted.
Begins 9:30am Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016
(MLT Lecture Theatre, Law 150)
The orientation program is an introduction to both the academic and social aspects of the College of Law. Through a series of workshop and lecture-style sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet faculty members and other students. You will also be introduced to some of the academic guidelines and legal concepts that will become more familiar in the coming months. Your Law Students’ Association (LSA) has organized several social events for these two days.
If you have any questions please email Professor Patricia Farnese, Chair of the Orientation Committee, at email@example.com.
