Our 1L students participate in a week of client-centred advocacy skills to focus on the lawyer-client relationship, which lies at the heart of lawyering.
A fun and dynamic week of workshops and lectures from dispute resolution experts, the program culminates with a simulated youth sentencing conference at the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan.
Students gain practice in problem-solving, negotiation skills, communication and ethical implications among others, which paves the way for upper-year courses in dispute resolution.
